As the holiday season approaches, it’s time to start thinking about your year-end projects and getting those orders in. Here’s everything you need to know to ensure you’re well-prepared for the final weeks of 2024.
Final Order Deadlines for 2024
To guarantee delivery before Christmas and the New Year, we recommend placing your orders as early as possible.
For non-powder-coated items, anything after Monday, December 9th will be hard to guarantee for pre-Christmas delivery.
If your order includes powder coating, the cut-off is even earlier — Monday, December 2nd. The final day for deliveries before Christmas will be Thursday, December 19th.
Be aware of different deadlines for certain products
Some products require more time, so it’s important to order early. Powder coating has strict deadlines, and while we’re waiting on an official date from our supplier, it’s best to place those orders as soon as possible.
Similarly, custom-made timber doors need extra lead time, so get those orders in now.
Avoid the last-minute scramble
As always, the weeks leading up to Christmas see a surge of last-minute orders. During this period, lead times can be extended, particularly for popular items like powder-coated products, cavity sliders, aluminium doors, and custom-made timber doors. If these are on your list, order as soon as possible to ensure you stay on schedule.

Our offices will be closed for the holiday season starting Friday, December 20th, and we will reopen on Monday, January 6th, 2025. Make sure you plan accordingly to avoid any delays with your projects.
Planning ahead for 2025
Looking to hit the ground running in January? We recommend placing your orders now, even if you don’t plan to start your project until 2025. January typically sees a backlog of orders as everyone gets back to work after the holidays. It’s also a busy period with several public holidays, including Chinese New Year and Australia Day, so early ordering is key.
To streamline the process, consider breaking your order into two or three parts to ensure you have everything you need to get started on time.
