Aluminium is the ultimate sustainable building material

Aluminium can be melted and reformed over and over again without degradation – it’s infinitely recyclable and it’ll be just as strong and durable as when it was first smelted and refined from ore.

So, naturally, when you opt for aluminium as your material of choice, you’re making a sustainable choice.

In some cases, recycling can be just as carbon-intensive as creating a brand-new product, however, remelting scrap aluminium requires only 5% of the energy needed for virgin aluminium production.

The three R’s of recycling are a good ol’ classic for a reason and they’re deeply ingrained within our day-to-day operations. Here’s just a few examples:

We recycle the plastic packaging used to wrap our powder-coated products for delivery
We reuse our crates for standard deliveries
We repurpose our crates to protect our more fragile products such as cavity slider carcasses and doors during transport
